PIH and acne are two of the top skin concerns worldwide especially in people with darker skin tone. Oftentimes, after people have managed to get their acne under control even with OTC products, they look for treatment of PIH left behind.
Postinflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) treatment for dark skin whether from acne or not can be challenging as many of the treatment options have the tendency to stimulate the production of more melanin.
